This certification was started in 2005. This certification is mandatory nurses who are dedicated to provide proper bedside care to cardiac patients who are critically ill.
Subspecialty Certification in Cardiac Surgery (CSC):
This certification was started in 2005. This certification is mandatory for nurses who provide care and attend patients during the first 48 hours of cardiac surge.
